Years back,I did some volunteer work for a local girl scout troop in my area .They had a girl in the troop with food allergy. At the meetings we had snack,meals,outings ,the girl couldnt have anything that we had beacause of her allergy .The kids thought it was different that she had something and they didnt have it or undstand why she had it. At one of the meetings we decided to have what's called getting to know Gluten or as in medical term Colic Disease and What it is and what do you do about it .I have tryed a few Gluten Free foods..

Q: What if you have been diagnosed with Celiac disease you are also prone to other autoimmune diseases such as Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, type one diabetes, and autoimmune thyroid disease.Autoimmune conditions occur when the immune system mistakenly attacks the body’s tissues.
Q:What Gluten's should you Avoid eating?
A: Wheat starch, wheat bran, wheat germ ,couscous, cracked wheat durum einkorn emmer farina faro fu (common in Asian foods) gliadin graham flour kamut matzo semolina spelt.

rye
seitan
triticale and Mir (a cross between wheat and rye)
Gluten may also show up as an ingredient in:
